What is Vindy AI?

Vindy AI is a Chrome browser extension for Vinted sellers. It automates the repetitive work of running a Vinted shop — reposting listings, following and unfollowing, replying to buyers, exchanging likes — and adds AI tools that write listings from a photo and turn phone photos into studio shots or virtual-model photos. It runs inside the seller's own Vinted browser session and never asks for the Vinted password. More than 1,300 sellers use it.

Two AI tools also run on the website without installing anything: AI Photo Studio and AI Descriptions. The automations (repost, follow, messages, likes) need the extension because they act inside the Vinted session.

Free trial and referral days

• 3-day trial: after completing the onboarding, new users can activate a free 3-day trial with Full Reseller limits (unlimited Smart Boost and Follow, Auto Messages). AI credits are capped at 200 for the trial. No card required; the account returns to Free afterwards unless a plan is bought.
• Referral: every user has a referral code. The inviter gets 3 days of Full Reseller when the friend activates a trial and 15 days when the friend subscribes, up to 90 accumulated days. Works on any plan: free users get Full Reseller for free, subscribers get the days added to their subscription.

AI Credits

An AI credit is a unit of cost, not of work. Every AI feature draws from the same monthly pool:

• AI listing (Smart Autofill) or AI description: 1 credit
• AI photo edit (background removal or replacement, relighting): 20 credits
• AI Virtual Model photo: 20 credits

A generated image costs roughly twenty times more to produce than a text listing, which is why it costs twenty times more credits. The maxima quoted per plan ("or up to N images") are alternatives, not additions. The allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle. If an AI operation fails, its credits are refunded automatically.

AI Photo Features (AI Photo Studio)

• AI Virtual Model: upload a flat-lay, hanger or folded photo of a garment and Vindy generates a realistic photo of a model wearing it. No photoshoot, mannequin or studio.
• Background removal and replacement: the item is cut out and placed on a clean studio surface — white, marble, linen, concrete and other backdrops — with relighting. Renders in about eight seconds.
• Runs in the extension and on the web: the same Photo Studio is available at vindy.tech/tools/photo-studio for phones and computers where extensions cannot be installed.

AI Listing Features

• Smart Autofill (AI listing): Vindy reads the photo and fills the Vinted listing form — brand, colour, size, condition, category — and writes an SEO title and description written for how buyers search. 1 credit per listing.
• AI descriptions on the web: vindy.tech/tools/descriptions returns a title and description from a photo without the extension.
• Banned-word check: AI texts and listings are screened against Vinted's banned-word rules before they go live (counterfeit terms such as "replica" or "1:1", contact details, off-platform payment). Counterfeit terms are the top cause of permanent Vinted bans.

Automation & Reposting Features

• Smart Boost (repost): Vindy backs up the listing, deletes it and recreates it with the same photos, text, price and attributes, so the item reappears at the top of Vinted's "Newest" feed. Measured on the same listings before and after: a repost is worth about 4× the weekly views (4.06× median).
• Bulk Smart Boost: select many listings and boost them in one run, with a randomised 5–20 second gap between actions.
• Best time to sell: Vindy measured 270,000 real Vinted orders to find when listings sell. The 12:00–22:00 window is flat, 21:00 is the peak, and the small hours are close to worthless; scheduling follows that curve, blended with the shop's own data.
• Cloud backups and restore: every boost saves a backup of the listing first. If Vinted refuses the new listing, the original is untouched and the backup can be restored as a new listing. Backup slots depend on the plan (see table).
• Volume shield: Vinted can restrict an account for about 24 hours after heavy automated listing activity. Vindy watches the listing volume (the one signal measured to precede a restriction), warns before a high-volume day, and if Vinted restricts the account it pauses Smart Boost for 24 hours automatically instead of retrying.
• Follow automation: follows users who recently liked items similar to the seller's, with natural delays; followed users get a notification and often visit the closet.
• Unfollow automation: removes users who do not follow back, keeping the following list clean, within the same daily limits.
• Human-behaviour technology: randomised 5–20 second gaps and natural patterns on every automation; no fixed timers.

Engagement & Messaging Features

• Auto Messages: when a buyer likes one of the seller's items, Vindy sends a preset message and optionally a discount offer. Templates with messages and/or offers; specific products can be excluded from each template. Available from Active Closet up.
• AI Negotiation Agent: scans the inbox every 5 minutes for haggling messages and drafts a reply in the seller's own style — accept, counter or answer — trained on the seller's past messages. Safety & Security

• No password: Vindy works on top of the Vinted session already open in the browser. It never asks for, sees or stores the Vinted password.

• Restriction awareness: heavy automated listing activity can trigger a temporary Vinted restriction (about 24 hours, no new listings or edits). Vindy measures the volume, warns before it, pauses automatically when it happens, and never touches the original listing until the new one is published. It reduces the risk; nothing removes it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many boost likes does the €19.99 plan include?

Full Reseller includes 250 boost-like credits per day. A single request can ask for at most 50 likes on one listing, so the daily allowance covers several listings. Vindy PRO has 300 per day, Active Closet 60, Starter 10, Free 5.

Is Vindy AI safe for my Vinted account?

Vindy runs inside your own browser session, never asks for your Vinted password, and spaces every action with randomised human-like delays. Vinted can still apply a temporary 24-hour listing restriction after a very high-volume day; Vindy warns before that and pauses automatically if it happens.

Does Vindy require my Vinted password?

No. It works on top of the Vinted session you are already logged into. If you log out of Vinted, Vindy stops until you log in again.

Is Vindy free to use?

Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and no card: 3 Smart Boosts a day (30 a month), 50 follows and 50 unfollows a day, 5 boost likes a day, basic analytics. Paid plans start at €4.99/month (Starter).

What exactly is an AI credit?

A unit of cost. One AI listing costs 1 credit; one generated image (photo edit or virtual model) costs 20, because an image is about twenty times more expensive to produce. Starter has 350 credits a month, Active Closet 950, Full Reseller 1,500, Vindy PRO 2,500. Credit packs (400, 1,200 or 3,400 credits) can be bought on any plan and do not expire monthly.

Do I need the extension to use the AI tools?

No. AI Photo Studio and AI Descriptions also run on vindy.tech without installing anything. The automations need the extension.

Does Vindy work on my phone?

How many Vinted shops can I manage?

As many as you like, on every paid plan. There is no per-shop surcharge.

Is there a free trial?

Yes: a 3-day trial with Full Reseller limits after completing the onboarding, no card required, AI credits capped at 200 for the trial. Referral codes add more Full Reseller days.

Can I cancel my subscription? Are there refunds?

You can cancel any time from the extension and keep access until the end of the paid period; no contract, no exit fee. EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the first purchase. Outside that window, fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable except where the law requires it; if an AI operation fails, its credits are refunded automatically.

How does Smart Boost work?

It backs up the listing, deletes it and recreates it identically, so it appears as a new listing at the top of the "Newest" feed. Measured on the same listings, that is about 4× the weekly views. How do automatic messages and the AI negotiation agent work?

Does Vindy help with taxes (DAC7)?
